I use this receipt printer with Checkout for my Mac. I picked it specifically because of the availability of Mac drivers. I'm not sure if they came on the included disc but they are available on the Star Micronics website. I like it. It works well with Checkout and it prints quickly and cleanly. It's worth noting that it's not exactly good-to-go out of the box. Only an AC adapter cable is included so you'll need a USB cable to connect to your computer and a proprietary cable for whatever cash drawer you want to connect it to (the port on this receipt printer is a standard phone port, but the port on my cash drawer is an ethernet port.) Of course I can't help but not be happy with the price. For what amounts to probably $20 of electronics you are paying a pretty large premium because this is a "business" product.

I have had a lot of fun printing things that are *not* receipts with this printer. With the Mac drivers you can print directly to the printer from any application, which allows you to do neat (and non-practical) things like printing Game Boy Camera-style pictures and teeny-tiny text documents.
