The hardware on this is rock solid. Dual core CPU and quad core graphics make its speed comparable to the Nexus 7. I would recommend looking for a ROM upgrade such as project margarine to obtain full Google market access. The IPS screen has a 170 degree viewing angle, so it is not as good as the iPad, but still sufficient for more than one person to view. The back corner gets warm with heavy use, but not exremely hot, probably thanks to the smaller 40nm process used in the chipset. I found that a Kindle Fire screen protector works well for this product. Although you cannot charge from the micro USB port, you can easily get a 0.7 mm AC to USB adaptor to charge from a standard USB port. The micro SD card slot and an HDMI port are nice add-ons that are not commonly found on tablets popular in the US. 1080p HD looks great and images are just as smooth as on the 7 inch screen. Battery life is adequate with about 3.5 hours when streaming video. Less life when you are using heavy graphics and more if you are just using it to read books with a KIndle app. Overall, not bad.
