Samsung BN44-00363A PCB, Power Supply Review

I have owned two Samsung 8000 series 55" LED TV's and this is the power board for both of those.
BOTH TV's died after 1.2 years of use (maybe 10-20 hours per week - pretty low compared to most).
(No lightning strikes, surge protector attached, etc.)

The fault both times was the power board has gone out and needs to be replaced.
TV makes a clicking noise, won't turn on, and the power indicator stays lit.

VERY easy to fix: take off back panel, unplug board, remove, plug in new board, replug, put on back.

For both of my TV's Samsung has refused to fix the problem and tells me to bring it in to an authorized dealer (breaker right after the warranty).
For a <15 minute fix do it yourself.

BUT - Samsung charges ~$300 for this board and you can get it cheaper (~$100) from other sites but they are always out of stock.

TV did work great; lack of support, high price of repair, repeat problems = not happy with Samsung.
(I have purchased Samsung TV's, laptops, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Sad that a dedicated customer gets the cold shoulder. I'll be placing my money elsewhere from now on.)

UPDATE: 11/6/2012
Found a refurbished replacement online for <$100. A 10 minute fix and TV was working again (about 2 months ago). This board failed again today. 3rd board to do so, they say there are bad capacitors on this board and I will try and swap them out personally.
