Our small business was using a consumer level Cisco router which dropped wireless constantly. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but our office is running on a VPN which we have to reconnect to every time we loose wireless. We began looking for a business class wireless router and I ended up choosing the ECB350, mostly because it has an option for 4 virtual WAN's. So far we have had the ECB350 running for 2 weeks and we have only had wireless drop once, however I was not there to determine if this was due to the wireless router or another part of the network. I have also noticed at least a 10% increase in our range without making adjustments to the output levels, which was a pleasant surprise.

I did deduct a star because the setup was more difficult than I had expected. However this being a business class device, the setup is probably geared towards someone with a more extensive knowledge of networking than myself. I went to EnGenius' web site for documentation and FAQ's and it was a little more difficult to navigate that I would have liked. In the end I contacted their support line and we were able to work through the my issues and we got i up and running within a day.

The build quality feels a little cheap, however this will be tucked away on a shelf and out of sight.

In the end, the cost has been worth it for more reliable wireless connectivity.
