I purchased an Asus VivoTab RT prior too this product. It was lighter, slimmer and overall had a nice feel but it was a little lacking and had a few problems which inevitably I sent it back for.

I decided to buy this as a replacement for that. So far I have no complaints. It's heavier and thicker, but for me it actually feels better when holding it because it's thicker.

Initially I didnt want a tablet that didnt have keyboard dock (which is why I started out with the VivoTab RT) but after trying to work on a small keyboard dock I realised there is no happy solution there. I'm better off with a full sized keyboard and traditional docking station than some hybrid keyboard dock that is packed into a 10" package. After accepting that, I am actually happier with the purchase even though it cost $200 more.
