I actually bought this laptop from CompUsa, but they censor their reviews, so I'm posting here.

This is a single core atom processor and runs windows 7 very slowly. I will be wiping the drive and installing XP or Linux soon to speed it up. ASUS does not include a recovery CD so changing the OS is a one way trip. The keyboard could be better. Commonly used keys like PgUp need a multi-key sequence to generate. The mouse pad is hard to stay on with your finger. The wifi did seem to be more sensitive than other wifis I have used. The speakers are a joke. You need a stethoscope (not included) to be able to hear anything because they are so weak. I have an old EEE Surf that is about 10 times louder than this thing. There is a single head/microphone jack on the side. You can only plug in one or the other. Compusa doesn't appear to sell an adapter to allow you to plug in both at the same time. The screen size is only 600 pixels high so you can't run any software that has big dialog boxes with the OK at the bottom. Unlike the Surf, the window does not scroll to give a bigger virtual window.

The bottom line is that I feel like an idiot for buying this thing without doing my homework first. Also, I won't be buying any more laptops from Compusa any more because they do not allow you to return them. Not even the same day you bought it.
