This has turned out to be a nice, quiet and capable power supply for my new RIAD server. I had intended on using a Corsair AX850 when it came back from RMA 8-(, but the second Corsair also crapped out after a week. I thought I'd need more power than this, as I'm running 16 7200 RPM hard drives, but turns out with IvyBridge and built in graphics, I'm around 200 watts at full load. This appearas to have a single 12 volt rail, which is good for lots of drives in a system where you don't have a lot of additional 12 volt PCI-Ex loading. The PowerFactor correction seems quite good, with a PF reading of between .97 and .99 depending on the load.This supply is quiet and fairly cool at 200 wats, which should be close to the sweet spot, efficiency-wise. The only down side is the limited number of molex connections, as the drive backplane used those rather than the SATA style connectors. I would have given 5 stars if this was modular for the peripheral connections at least. At this price, I don't think that is too much to ask.
